Like coffee stains that look like holy figures, most of my favorite artistic discoveries have been entirely accidental. To wit, yesterday I was in Michelle's office talking shop when, among her generic leadership posters, I noticed a really captivating art print tacked to her wall.I discovered it's from artist Brian Cronin, whose work has been featured in comics, and major publications like Time and the Atlantic. Early this year, he released 'Was Superman a Spy?: And Other Comic Book Legends Revealed.'
His style is pretty simplistic, warm, and his color selections are coordinated and satisfying. There's something very industrial about it all.
Here's his website: www.briancronin.com/detect_flash.html
Then, you've got Kozyndan, whose work frequently features rabbits. That's tops in my book. Hooray for bunnies!
