What is it with the odious trend of saying 'Have a blessed day' on answering machine messages? Is everyone a minister, now? Plus, it sounds blatently Jesus-freaky. Being an indignant and overly sensitive American, this offends me. Where's the nod to my delusions? What if I'm into voodoo, or have a shrine to Ba'al next to my coffee maker?
