Among the assorted, hyphenated adjectives, acronyms and titles I've given myself over the years, 'music geek' would rank as one of the more endurable. Simply put, huge swaths of my grey-matter that could be used for higher learning are right now buzzing with the breakdown to Band on the Run. As pertains to most guitar-bass-drums combinations, I know my shit.
That's why it's always exciting to discover another vein of heretofore unheard tunes, and why the Pukekos blog is endlessly captivating, in both name and content. To enter it is to be overwhelmed with raw tunage. I've included a cover from Lifter Puller that, while not an unknown band per se, still makes me grin.
